Pre hearing information
The tribunal will inquire into the allegation that, between, June 2018 and January 2019, Dr Wootton was dishonest about being subject to a GMC investigation, which he had been informed of in May 2018.
It is alleged that Dr Wootton was dishonest about the GMC investigation while completing his 2018/2019 Scottish Online Appraisal Resource (SOAR), during an appraisal meeting, when approving and signing off his self-declaration for his SOAR, and during a meeting with his clinical supervisor.
This reflects the allegation as it stands at the start of the hearing. The allegation may be amended as the hearing proceeds and when findings of fact are made by the tribunal.
All decisions are published online within 28 days of the conclusion of the hearing.
