Pre hearing information


The tribunal will inquire into the allegation that, on 7 December 2023 at Laganside Magistrates’ Court, Dr Gibson was convicted of obtaining sexual services from another person in exchange for payment and being in possession of an indecent photograph of children and two extreme pornographic images.

It is further alleged that on 20 March 2024, at Newry Courthouse (Magistrates), Dr Gibson was sentenced to a Probation Order for one year and six months and to comply with notification requirements for five years.



This reflects the allegation as it stands at the start of the hearing. The allegation may be amended as the hearing proceeds and when findings of fact are made by the tribunal.
