The tribunal found that between June and July 2020, Dr Thillainayagam failed to provide appropriate care to Patient A. The Tribunal also found that Dr Thillainayagam’s failings related to informed consent, treatment, prescribing, follow-up, assessment and record keeping.
The Tribunal will reconvene to determine whether his fitness is currently impaired by reason of misconduct.
This reflects the allegation as it stands at the start of the hearing. The allegation may be amended as the hearing proceeds and when findings of fact are made by the tribunal.
