Pre hearing information
The tribunal will inquire into the allegation that, on 7 September 2016, Dr Sachdev prescribed intravenous fluids to a patient suffering from severe fluid overload. It is alleged that when asked by Dr A for an explanation, Dr Sachdev stated that he had recognised his error before the fluids were administered. It is alleged that this statement was untrue.
It is further alleged that on 2 November 2016, Dr Sachdev completed a Work Details Form and failed to note that he had worked at George Eliot Hospital. It is alleged that his actions were dishonest.
This reflects the allegation as it stands at the start of the hearing. The allegation may be amended as the hearing proceeds and when findings of fact are made by the tribunal.
All decisions are published online within 28 days of the conclusion of the hearing.
