Pre hearing information

The tribunal will inquire into the allegation that on 9 February 2017 Dr Robertson sent an email to NHS Grampian (the Trust) forwarding an email which she purported to be from the GMC. It is further alleged that the content of these emails were untrue because Dr Robertson had fabricated or caused to be fabricated the forwarded email herself. It is also alleged that on 26 May 2017, 15 August 2017 and 23 August 2017 Dr Robertson stated to the Trust that she had spoken to the GMC about her application, which was untrue.

It is alleged that Dr Robertson’s conduct was to ensure she remained employed as a Consultant to which she was not entitled. It is also alleged that her actions were dishonest.

This reflects the allegation as it stands at the start of the hearing. The allegation may be amended as the hearing proceeds and when findings of fact are made by the tribunal.

All decisions are published online within 28 days of the conclusion of the hearing.
