Pre hearing information

Allegation

The tribunal will inquire into the allegation that, on 20 April 2016, whilst performing an umbilical hernia repair on Patient A, a child, Dr Lambert undertook an additional procedure without first obtaining consent from Patient A and/or his parents. It is further alleged that Dr Lambert made an inappropriate comment to Patient A and his mother and was subsequently dishonest when interviewed as part of an investigation into his conduct.

It is further alleged that between July and October 2018, Dr Lambert failed to provide adequate care to three patients.
