Pre hearing information
The tribunal will inquire into the allegation that, when Dr Czipp was called to consult with Patient A between 14 and 15 August 2017, he, amongst other things, failed to speak to Patient A; obtain an adequate history of the onset of chest pain and associative symptoms of breathlessness and sweating; and assess the jugular venous pressure and the presence of peripheral oedema.
It is also alleged that Dr Czipp completed the clerking form to indicate that a clinical examination had taken place when he knew this to be untrue. It is alleged that Dr Czipp’s actions were dishonest.
This reflects the allegation as it stands at the start of the hearing. The allegation may be amended as the hearing proceeds and when findings of fact are made by the tribunal.
