Pre hearing information
The tribunal will inquire into the allegation that, between 25 January 2017 and 27 December 2017, Dr Gentry failed to provide good clinical care to five patients, including failing to interpret an ultrasound scan correctly, refer a patient to a specialist colleague, record or document discussions with patients, conduct an adequate examination of a patient, seek advice or a second opinion from colleagues.
It is further alleged that, on 18 February 2020, Dr Gentry gave false evidence at a coroner’s inquest regarding the death of a baby and that her actions were dishonest.
This reflects the allegation as it stands at the start of the hearing. The allegation may be amended as the hearing proceeds and when findings of fact are made by the tribunal.
