Pre hearing information
The tribunal will inquire into the allegation that in September 2017 Dr McGrath undertook a laparoscopic cholecystectomy and failed to provide adequate care to a patient, make appropriate records, or communicate appropriately with colleagues.
It is also alleged that there were a number of failings by Dr McGrath following the procedure, including failing to provide relevant information to the patient’s GP and failing to provide data relating to the procedure.
This reflects the allegation as it stands at the start of the hearing. The allegation may be amended as the hearing proceeds and when findings of fact are made by the tribunal.
All decisions are published online within 28 days of the conclusion of the hearing.
