Pre hearing information
The tribunal will enquire into the allegation that, between October 2015 and April 2017, Dr Arshad was employed by both Doncaster and Bassetlaw Hospitals NHS Trust (‘Doncaster’) and United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (‘ULHT’). It is alleged that, during this period, Dr Arshad was receiving two full time salaries. It is further alleged that Dr Arshad knew that he should not have been receiving two full time salaries, that he failed to inform either Doncaster or ULHT that he was receiving two salaries, and that his actions, in so doing, were dishonest.
The tribunal will further enquire into the allegation that, on 27 June 2017, Dr Arshad acted dishonestly during an interview with the Counter Fraud Squad in relation to the salaries received from Doncaster and ULHT.
This reflects the allegation as it stands at the start of the hearing. The allegation may be amended as the hearing proceeds and when findings of fact are made by the tribunal.
All decisions are published online within 28 days of the conclusion of the hearing.
