Allegation

The tribunal will inquire into the allegation that, on 8 December 2023, at Cambridge Crown Court, Dr Bailey was convicted of three counts under the Sexual Offences Act 2003 of engaging in sexual activity with a mentally disordered woman under his care. It is alleged that on 28 February 2024, Dr Bailey was sentenced to 26 months’ imprisonment, a notification requirement to sign the sex offenders’ register for ten years and a restraining order not to contact the victim and another individual for ten years.
