Pre hearing information

The tribunal will inquire into the allegation that between 15 May 2019 and 8 August 2019, Dr Uzokwe failed to provide adequate care to four patients, Patient A, B, C, and D.

It is also alleged that Dr Uzokwe made a dishonest statement to Patient D in order to encourage the patient to share information. The tribunal will also inquire into the allegation that Dr Uzokwe made inappropriate statements about a patient to a colleague and when consulting with Patient F, used information he was aware of relating to Patient F’s paranoiac themes in an inappropriate manner.

This reflects the allegation as it stands at the start of the hearing. The allegation may be amended as the hearing proceeds and when findings of fact are made by the tribunal.

All decisions are published online within 28 days of the conclusion of the hearing.
