Pre hearing information

The tribunal will inquire into the allegation that, between August 2015 and November 2018, Dr Parker failed to provide good clinical care to six patients. It is also alleged that between October 2018 and January 2019, Dr Parker performed surgery in breach of restrictions on his clinical practice. It is alleged that his actions were dishonest.

Finally, it is alleged that in February 2019, Dr Parker added pre-typed operation notes to approximately 14 patients’ case notes that were to be reviewed by the Royal College of Surgeons without indicating that they had been made retrospectively. It is alleged that Dr Parker’s actions were an attempt to avoid criticism about his record keeping and that his actions were dishonest.

This reflects the allegation as it stands at the start of the hearing. The allegation may be amended as the hearing proceeds and when findings of fact are made by the tribunal.

All decisions are published online within 28 days of the conclusion of the hearing.
