Pre hearing information

Allegation

The tribunal will inquire into the allegation that, in April 2000, Dr Hanrahan failed to adequately notify the Belfast Coroner’s Office of the facts and circumstances of Patient A’s death. It is further alleged that Dr Hanrahan failed to adequately oversee the issuing of Patient A’s death certificate by Dr B in May 2000 as he permitted an inaccurate cause of death to appear on the death certificate. It is alleged that Dr Hanrahan’s actions were dishonest.
