Pre hearing information
The Tribunal will enquire into the allegation that, between 1 March 2016 and 1 December 2017, Dr Bleasdale carried out on-call work on a number of occasions for both Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals NHS Trust (‘the Trust’) and BMI Priory Hospital (‘the Priory’).
It is alleged that Dr Bleasdale knowingly agreed to work concurrently for both organisations on a number of occasions, and that he failed to adequately notify the Trust that he had agreed to work concurrently for them and for the Priory. It is further alleged that Dr Bleasdale knew that he should not have agreed to work concurrently, and that his actions in so doing were dishonest.
This reflects the allegation as it stands at the start of the hearing. The allegation may be amended as the hearing proceeds and when findings of fact are made by the tribunal.
All decisions are published online within 28 days of the conclusion of the hearing.
