Pre hearing information
The tribunal will inquire into the allegation that on 24 May 2018 at Newcastle upon Tyne Crown Court Dr Morch-Siddall was convicted of: a. causing serious injury by dangerous driving; b. failing to provide a specimen for analysis.
On 20 September 2018 Dr Morch-Siddall was sentenced to: 18 months imprisonment suspended for 18 months; to undertake rehabilitation activity requirement for 15 days to be completed within 18 months; to participate in Drink Impaired Drivers Programme for up to 20 sessions; to carry out unpaid work for 80 hours before 20 September 2019; was disqualified from driving for three years with effect from 24 May 2018 when interim disqualification was imposed; to take an extended driving test.
This reflects the allegation as it stands at the start of the hearing. The allegation may be amended as the hearing proceeds and when findings of fact are made by the tribunal.
All decisions are published online within 28 days of the conclusion of the hearing.
