Pre hearing information
The tribunal will inquire into the allegation that in December 2017, Dr Bilton failed to obtain an adequate history and carry out an appropriate examination of Patient A. Dr Bilton also failed to make an adequate diagnosis, make an appropriate referral and make an appropriate record following the consultation with Patient A.
The tribunal will also inquire into the allegation that, in February 2018, Dr Bilton failed to carry out an appropriate examination of Patient B and recorded details of a purported examination when Dr Bilton knew that she had not adequately examined Patient B.
It is alleged that Dr Bilton’s record of Patient A’s and Patient B’s consultations was dishonest.
The tribunal will further inquire into the allegation that, in March 2018 Dr Bilton inappropriately prescribed Co-amoxiclav to Patient C.
This reflects the allegation as it stands at the start of the hearing. The allegation may be amended as the hearing proceeds and when findings of fact are made by the tribunal.
All decisions are published online within 28 days of the conclusion of the hearing.
