Pre hearing information
The tribunal will inquire into the allegation that, on 29 June 2015 at Warwickshire Magistrates’ Court, Dr Shaw was convicted of driving a motor vehicle after consuming alcohol that exceeded the prescribed limit. It is further alleged that Dr Shaw was fined £500 and was disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 15 months (to be reduced by 15 weeks on completion of an approved course).
It is alleged that Dr Shaw’s fitness to practise is impaired by reason of her conviction.
We expect parts of this case to be heard in private.
This reflects the allegation as it stands at the start of the hearing. The allegation may be amended as the hearing proceeds and when findings of fact are made by the tribunal.
