Allegation

The tribunal will inquire into the allegation that, on 22 May 2018 at Glasgow High Court, Dr Jamal was convicted of a.) sexual assault pursuant to Section 3 of the Sexual Offences (Scotland) Act 2009 b.) rape pursuant to Section 1 of the Sexual Offences (Scotland) Act 2009 and c.) sexual assault pursuant to Section 3 of the Sexual Offences (Scotland) Act 2009.

It is further alleged that, on 15 June 2018, Dr Jamal was sentenced to a.) 12 months imprisonment in respect of Section 3 of the Sexual Offences (Scotland) Act 2009 b.) 5 years imprisonment in respect of Section 1 of the Sexual Offences (Scotland) Act 2009 and c.) 18 months imprisonment in respect of Section 3 of the Sexual Offences (Scotland) Act 2009.
