Pre hearing information
The tribunal will enquire into the allegation that, on 10 October 2018, Dr Ras wrote out a private prescription for a close relative. It is alleged that, at the time of writing the prescription, Dr Ras knew that they did not hold a licence to practice medicine with the GMC, and also knew that a licence to practise was required in order to write prescriptions. It is alleged that Dr Ras’ actions, in so doing, were dishonest.
This reflects the allegation as it stands at the start of the hearing. The allegation may be amended as the hearing proceeds and when findings of fact are made by the tribunal.
All decisions are published online within 28 days of the conclusion of the hearing.
