Pre hearing information

The tribunal will inquire into the allegation that between 2015 and 2016, Dr Burrett treated and/or consulted with Patient A, a person with whom she had a close personal relationship. It is alleged that on 29 March 2019, Dr Burrett sent a WhatsApp message to Ms B in which she inappropriately disclosed a bundle of electronic documents containing Patient A’s confidential patient information.

It is further alleged that on 29 May 2019, Dr Burrett submitted an online application for connected membership to the Independent Doctors Federation which contained false information. It is alleged that Dr Burrett’s conduct was dishonest.

This reflects the allegation as it stands at the start of the hearing. The allegation may be amended as the hearing proceeds and when findings of fact are made by the tribunal.

All decisions are published online within 28 days of the conclusion of the hearing.
