Pre hearing information

The tribunal will inquire into the allegation that, on one or more occasions between April and July 2022, Dr Aljallabi submitted for publication to the International Journal of Health Sciences an article which contained plagiarised material and on which he was cited as an author. It is further alleged that on or around 1 September 2022, Dr Aljallabi submitted an online application to Health Education England for Specialty Training in which he provided details of the article in support and made declarations which he knew to be untrue.

It is alleged that Dr Aljallabi’s actions were dishonest.

Please note: This is a joint hearing with Dr Mursi. Information about the allegation against Dr Mursi can be found here.

This reflects the allegation as it stands at the start of the hearing. The allegation may be amended as the hearing proceeds and when findings of fact are made by the tribunal.

All decisions are published online within 28 days of the conclusion of the hearing.
