Pre hearing information
The tribunal has found that, on one or more occasion in February 2018, Dr Ahluwalia made dishonest statements to colleagues. It has also found that between December 2018 and January 2019, Dr Ahluwalia made racist and/or homophobic comments to colleagues.
The tribunal has found that Dr Ahluwalia’s actions amounted to misconduct and found his fitness to practise to be impaired. When the hearing reconvenes the tribunal will consider what sanction, if any, to impose.
This reflects the allegation as it stands at the start of the hearing. The allegation may be amended as the hearing proceeds and when findings of fact are made by the tribunal.
All decisions are published online within 28 days of the conclusion of the hearing.
