Pre hearing information

The tribunal will inquire into the allegation that, on five occasions between March 2026 and October 2019, Dr Whitehouse wrote prescriptions for use as a forensic medical examiner when he was not a forensic medical examiner. It is also alleged that on 6 June 2016 and 5 October 2019, Dr Whitehouse wrote prescriptions for Patient A and Patient B respectively at West Mercia Police when the patients were not in the custody of West Mercia Police and Dr Whitehouse was not working for West Mercia Police in any capacity at the time.

It is alleged that Dr Whitehouse’s actions were dishonest.

This reflects the allegation as it stands at the start of the hearing. The allegation may be amended as the hearing proceeds and when findings of fact are made by the tribunal.
