Pre hearing information

The tribunal will inquire into the allegation that on 5 June 2014, Dr Tattersall spoke to Ms A at Liverpool Women’s Hospital (the Hospital) and dishonestly stated that he was calling on behalf of the Nursing and Midwifery Council and attempted to obtain Ms B’s pin number.

It is further alleged that, in August 2014 and January 2015, Dr Tattersall provided evidence in respect of an employment tribunal claim against the Hospital which he knew to be untrue. It is alleged that his actions were dishonest.

This reflects the allegation as it stands at the start of the hearing. The allegation may be amended as the hearing proceeds and when findings of fact are made by the tribunal.

All decisions are published online within 28 days of the conclusion of the hearing.
