Pre hearing information


The tribunal will inquire into the allegation that, on 10 December 2016, Dr Aslam undertook a procedure on Patient A but failed to obtain adequate consent, adequately carry out the procedure and make a record of his actions.

It is further alleged that Dr Aslam acted dishonestly by sending a text message to Patient A’s mother containing untrue details about the filler batch label used for the procedure.

In addition, it is alleged that following the procedure Dr Aslam failed to adequately review Patient A, inappropriately diagnosed Patient A’s post-operative infection, failed to treat Patient A’s post-operative infection and inappropriately prescribed an antibiotic for Patient A.



This reflects the allegation as it stands at the start of the hearing. The allegation may be amended as the hearing proceeds and when findings of fact are made by the tribunal.
