Pre hearing information

The Tribunal will enquire into the allegation that, between 25 February and 19 May 2016, whilst employed as a General Practitioner at the ROC Private Clinic in London, Dr Bogatcheva undertook one or more consultations with Patient A. It is alleged that in or around June 2016 Dr Bogatcheva began an improper emotional relationship with Patient A, and that this relationship was sexually motivated.

It is further alleged that, on three occasions between June and November 2016, Dr Bogatcheva inappropriately accessed Patient A’s clinical records; further, it is alleged that on 3 November 2016 Dr Bogatcheva wrote a referral letter for Patient A whilst she was in a sexual relationship with Patient A.

It is alleged that, by reason of the matters set out above, Dr Bogatcheva’s fitness to practise is impaired by reason of misconduct.

This reflects the allegation as it stands at the start of the hearing. The allegation may be amended as the hearing proceeds and when findings of fact are made by the tribunal.

All decisions are published online within 28 days of the conclusion of the hearing.
