Pre hearing information
The tribunal will inquire into the allegation that, on 24 August 2017, Dr Sattar was verbally abusive to ‘Ms A’ and held a knife to her neck. It is further alleged that on 27 August 2017, Dr Sattar pushed ‘Ms B’ and punched ‘Mr C’ in the face one or more times. It is alleged that on 30 August 2017 Dr Sattar was charged with assault in relation to these incidents, and is further alleged that he failed to notify the GMC without delay that he had been charged with these offences.
This reflects the allegation as it stands at the start of the hearing. The allegation may be amended as the hearing proceeds and when findings of fact are made by the tribunal.
All decisions are published online within 28 days of the conclusion of the hearing.
