Pre hearing information

The tribunal will inquire into the allegation that on 7 and 9 December 2019, Dr Olugbenga behaved inappropriately towards Ms A, a medical student who he knew was vulnerable. It is alleged that Dr Olugbenga’s conduct towards Ms A was sexually motivated.

It is further alleged that on 9 December 2019, at a hotel in Nigeria, Dr Olugbenga entered Ms A’s hotel room without permission and sexually abused Ms A and that on 10 December 2019, he sent inappropriate messages to Ms A, in an attempt to dissuade her from reporting him.

This reflects the allegation as it stands at the start of the hearing. The allegation may be amended as the hearing proceeds and when findings of fact are made by the tribunal.

All decisions are published online within 28 days of the conclusion of the hearing.
