Pre hearing information

Allegation

The tribunal will inquire into the allegation that between 8 February 2020 and 12 March 2020, Dr Pravin Thomas carried out actions for the purpose of pursuing an improper personal relationship with a vulnerable patient. It is also alleged that Dr Pravin Thomas inappropriately disclosed personal details about the patient to his wife without having clinical justification to do so.

It is further alleged that, with full knowledge of the GMC’s investigation into his conduct, Dr Pravin Thomas failed to declare it on an employment application for Leeds Teaching Hospital and informed that Trust that the investigation was closed, and in doing so his actions were dishonest.
