Pre hearing information
The tribunal will inquire into the allegation that, on 6 April 2020, Dr Sawati amended a death certificate and completed two Cremation forms, in breach of a condition imposed on her registration not to work without direct supervision. It is further alleged that in an interview with the Police, which took place on 4 June 2020, Dr Sawati claimed that she had been asked to complete the paperwork.
It is alleged that Dr Sawati’s actions were dishonest.
This reflects the allegation as it stands at the start of the hearing. The allegation may be amended as the hearing proceeds and when findings of fact are made by the tribunal.
All decisions are published online within 28 days of the conclusion of the hearing.
