Pre hearing information
The tribunal will enquire into the allegation that, on more or more occasion between July and October 2016, Dr Al Sayed acted in an inappropriate way towards Ms A. This alleged behaviour includes hugging and kissing Ms A, asking Ms A out on more than on occasion, and asking Ms A ‘when are we going to be naughty’. It is further alleged that, in September 2016, Dr Al Sayed placed his hands on Ms A’s face, turned her face towards him, and kissed her on the lips. It is alleged that Dr Al Sayed’s conduct towards Ms A was sexually motivated and that, by reason of the matters set out above, his fitness to practice is impaired by reason of misconduct.
This reflects the allegation as it stands at the start of the hearing. The allegation may be amended as the hearing proceeds and when findings of fact are made by the tribunal.
All decisions are published online within 28 days of the conclusion of the hearing.
