Pre hearing information
The tribunal will reconvene to continueits consideration into the allegation that, between 2002 and 2016, Dr Hanif treated Patient A at the Shanti Medical Centre. It is alleged that during consultations with Patient A between 2012 and 2016, Dr Hanif’s actions were for the purpose of pursuing and/or maintain a sexual relationship and an improper emotional relationship with Patient A.
It is also alleged that Dr Hanif’s conduct in this regard was sexually motivated.
This reflects the allegation as it stands at the start of the hearing. The allegation may be amended as the hearing proceeds and when findings of fact are made by the tribunal.
All decisions are published online within 28 days of the conclusion of the hearing.
