Pre hearing information


The tribunal will inquire into the allegation that on 21 June 2008 Dr Sharma accepted a caution from the Metropolitan Police Service for one count of going equipped for theft and two counts of theft contrary. It is alleged that Dr Sharma failed to notify the General Medical Council of without delay of her caution.

It is further alleged that on 28 May 2019 at Stockport Magistrates’ Court Dr Sharma was convicted of theft and sentenced to pay a fine of £286.00.



This reflects the allegation as it stands at the start of the hearing. The allegation may be amended as the hearing proceeds and when findings of fact are made by the tribunal.
