Pre hearing information
The tribunal will inquire into the allegation that in 2017 Dr Ogbe Uwen worked as a Substance Misuse Psychiatrist without having adequate insurance or indemnity in place. It is alleged that having been notified of the requirement to have adequate insurance or indemnity cover in place, Dr Ogbe Uwen confirmed to her employer that such cover was in place when she knew that her legal cover did not cover the work that she undertook. It is further alleged that Dr Ogbe Uwen’s actions in this regard were dishonest.
This reflects the allegation as it stands at the start of the hearing. The allegation may be amended as the hearing proceeds and when findings of fact are made by the tribunal.
