Pre hearing information


The tribunal will inquire into the allegation that, on 18 December 2018 at Birmingham Crown Court, Dr Evans was convicted of an attempt to cause/incite a girl of 13 to 15 to engage in a penetrative sexual activity – offender 18 or over, contrary to Section 1(1) of the Criminal Attempts Act 1981.

It is alleged that on 15 March 2019, Dr Evans was sentenced to 30 months’ imprisonment, inclusion on the sex offender register for life and an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order.



This reflects the allegation as it stands at the start of the hearing. The allegation may be amended as the hearing proceeds and when findings of fact are made by the tribunal.
