Pre hearing information

Allegation

The tribunal will reconvene to continue to inquire into the allegation that, on 28 June 2019, Dr Konathala examined Patient A and failed to obtain informed consent or offer a chaperone. It is alleged that Dr Konathala’s actions were not clinically indicated and were sexually motivated. It is further alleged that Dr Konathala failed to adequately communicate with Patient A during the consultation and failed to record the examination.
