It is also alleged that on 4 January 2017, at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court, Dr Siddappa was convicted of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, contrary to section 47 of the Offences Against the Person Act 1861. It is alleged that on 26 January 2017 Dr Siddappa was sentenced to a Community Order which included a programme requirement and a rehabilitation activity requirement, both to be complied with by 25 July 2018.

It is further alleged that Dr Siddappa failed to notify the GMC without delay that he had been charged with and convicted of the criminal offence.
