Pre hearing information

The tribunal will inquire into the allegation that, between 25 June 2019 and 26 March 2020, Dr Liesis failed to provide good clinical care to three patients at hospitals in Shrewsbury, Bury and Ebbw Vale. It is also alleged that Dr Liesis sent emails to his employer, recruitment / locum agencies, the Senior Coroner for Shropshire and the GMC, in which he used unprofessional language.

It is further alleged that, in February 2020, Dr Liesis was dishonest in failing to inform the Athona Recruitment Agency that he had previously been subject to a GMC fitness to practise investigation.

Bydd y tribiwnlys yn ymchwilio i’r honiad bod Dr Liesis, rhwng 25 Mehefin 2019 a 26 Mawrth 2020, wedi methu â darparu gofal clinigol da i dri chlaf mewn ysbytai yn Amwythig, Bury a Glynebwy. Honnir hefyd bod Dr Liesis wedi anfon negeseuon e-bost at ei gyflogwr, asiantaethau recriwtio / locwm, Uwch Grwner Swydd Amwythig a’r Cyngor Meddygol Cyffredinol, lle’r oedd yn defnyddio iaith amhroffesiynol.

Honnir hefyd, ym mis Chwefror 2020, bod Dr Liesis yn anonest am fethu â rhoi gwybod i Asiantaeth Recriwtio Athona ei fod wedi bod yn destun ymchwiliad addasrwydd i ymarfer gan y Cyngor Meddygol Cyffredinol yn y gorffennol.

This reflects the allegation as it stands at the start of the hearing. The allegation may be amended as the hearing proceeds and when findings of fact are made by the tribunal.

All decisions are published online within 28 days of the conclusion of the hearing.
