Pre hearing information
The tribunal will inquire into the allegation that in 2016, whilst working as Professor in Surgical Uro-oncology in the School of Medicine at the University of Dundee, Professor Nabi was responsible for conduct which deviated from accepted ethical standards in research in respect of a manuscript submitted to the journal ‘Urologic Oncology’. It is further alleged that Professor Nabi subsequently attempted to prevent the University’s Investigating Committee from identifying that he was responsible for the plagiarism contained within the manuscript.
This reflects the allegation as it stands at the start of the hearing. The allegation may be amended as the hearing proceeds and when findings of fact are made by the tribunal.
All decisions are published online within 28 days of the conclusion of the hearing.
