- Allegation
The tribunal will continue to inquire into the allegation that, between 12 May 2014 and 4 February 2021, Mr Hattotuwa failed to provide adequate clinical care to 14 patients. It is alleged that Mr Hattotuwa’s failings related variously to supervision, record keeping, advice, informed consent, seeking advice from colleagues, treatment and communication.
It is further alleged that in 2018, Mr Hattotuwa was dishonest when completing a funding request form for a procedure.
