Support for doctors

There are a number of services and sources of information available to help support doctors through the hearing process. Here is some of the support offered by the MPTS and other organisations.

MPTS Support Service

The MPTS Support Service is a free service offering practical information to doctors who are attending a hearing, particularly those who intend to represent themselves. Our service is available to offer support prior to or on the day of the hearing.

Hearing information line

The hearing information line is a free confidential service run by the BPP University School of Law, particularly to help doctors who intend to represent themselves. Doctors can use the service to learn about the hearing process and what to expect when attending a hearing.

Support from other organisations

Support from other organisations is available before, during or after a hearing from organisations other than the MPTS.
