Allegation

The tribunal will inquire into the allegation that, on 14 September 2023, at Lancaster Police Station, Dr Foster accepted a caution for possession of a controlled drug.

It is also alleged that, on 2 April 2019, Dr Foster self-prescribed in a non-emergency situation.

It is further alleged that, on one or more occasion between 2015 and August 2022, Dr Foster prescribed medication for patients when it was not clinically indicated and/or the medication was intended for his own use and made inaccurate entries in the patients’ medical records.

It is alleged that Dr Foster’s actions were dishonest.

We expect parts of this case to be heard in private.
