Can I attend a hearing?
Members of the public and the media can attend most hearings.
But, there are some cases where hearings are not held in public.
Please speak with us in advance if you're unsure whether the hearing you want to see will be public.
Hearing start and finish times
Hearings usually start at 9.30 am and finish between 4.30 – 5.00 pm. The day includes a lunch break and short refreshment breaks.
Disabled access
Lifts are available to all floors and hearing loops are provided in our hearing rooms. If you have any specific requirements, please let us know in advance and we'll do all we can to assist you.
Food and drinks
Sandwich bars, cafes and small supermarkets are within a few minutes walk.
Children
Please don't bring children if possible. Our staff can't take responsibility for any children, even for short periods. If you're involved in the hearing, you'll need to bring another adult to look after any children while you give evidence.
