Pre hearing information

Allegation

The tribunal will continue to inquire into the allegation that, between October 2009 and September 2021, Dr Sharma behaved inappropriately towards six colleagues and two patients and that his conduct constituted harassment and was sexually motivated. It is also alleged that on or around 26 September 2021, Dr Sharma accessed the medical records of a colleague when he was not the treating clinician and had not received his colleague’s permission to do so.

It is further alleged that in 2016, Dr Sharma gave false information at a police interview and failed to inform his employer that he had been suspended from the National Performers List and that in 2018, Dr Sharma failed to inform a prospective employer that an order of conditions had been imposed on his registration. It is alleged that Dr Sharma’s conduct was dishonest.
