Pre hearing information

Allegation

The tribunal will continue to inquire into the allegation that, on one or more occasion in 2021, Dr Kumar behaved in a sexually motivated way towards Ms A and that his actions constituted sexual harassment.

Following Dr Kumar’s admission that he subsequently contacted Ms A, the tribunal will also continue to inquire in to the allegation that this was done in an attempt to ensure that she did not discuss his conduct with other people and/or pursue a police complaint against him. It is further alleged that Dr Kumar’s actions towards Ms A were an abuse of his more senior position.
