Pre hearing information

Allegation

The tribunal will continue to inquire into the allegation that on 20 September 2022 at Birmingham Crown Court, Dr Cook was given a conditional discharge for 12 months for publishing and attempting to publish an obscene article about sexual activity with a child. It is also alleged that, between November 2020 and May 2021, Dr Cook spoke to three people, including an undercover police officer, on social media, about sexual activities with a child/minor.

It is further alleged that Dr Cook’s conduct amounted to inciting abuse of a child and/or engaging in role play involving abuse of a child and that his conduct was sexually motivated.

We expect parts of this case to be heard in private.
