- Allegation
The tribunal found that, during the period March 2019 to May 2020, Dr McCann failed to provide good clinical care to seven patients. The tribunal also found that, in June 2019 and April 2020, Dr McCann behaved in a sexually motivated way towards Ms A and Ms B respectively.
In addition, the tribunal found that in March 2020, Dr McCann was dishonest when completing his NHS appraisal form in that he failed to declare that he was subject to a GMC investigation. The tribunal also found that Dr McCann failed to complete and return a Working Details Form sent to him by the GMC on four occasions between September 2019 and July 2020.
The tribunal will reconvene to determine whether Dr McCann’s fitness to practise is currently impaired by reason of misconduct.
