- Allegation
The tribunal will inquire into the allegation that, between June 2022 and November 2024, Dr Bhagawati inappropriately prescribed medication for himself and in 2024 inappropriately ordered blood tests for himself. It is alleged that Dr Bhagawati accessed the record of a previous consultation to give the impression the tests had been ordered by another clinician and that his actions were dishonest.
It is further alleged that Dr Bhagawati failed to return to the GMC a completed Work Details Form including details of his current employers despite the GMC writing to him on three occasions between May and August 2025.
