Pre hearing information
- Allegation
The tribunal will inquire into the allegation that, in his capacity as Director of Common Stations Limited (Common Stations), a company providing educational courses relating to part 2 of the GMC Professional and Linguistic Assessment Board Test (PLAB 2), Dr Salehi procured confidential information about the content of PLAB 2 (the Information) from candidates and in doing so induced them to breach the terms and conditions of the test.
It is also alleged that Dr Salehi created and distributed teaching materials containing the Information to students being tutored by Common Stations, allowing them to obtain an unfair advantage. It is further alleged that Dr Salehi made posts on social media and distributed leaflets stating that Common Stations had achieved a 100% pass rate in PLAB 2 which was untrue. It is alleged that Dr Salehi’s actions were dishonest.
Please note: This is a joint hearing with Dr Elmira YAGHMAEI. Information about the allegation against Dr YAGHMAEI can be found here.
